About 4200 St. Laurent

Built in 1972 and entirely renovated in 1997, the 4200 St. Laurent offers all the amenities and conveniences of a modern facility. The corridors and common area are a blend of original 1970s style with a modern retro-fit that marries the two genres of design.

Originally a garment factory, the building is now home to a diverse collection of Montreal's best known creative talents and a major centre for software development, architecture and design, music, entertainment, and fashion.

The views offered to its tenants include the Mount Royal, the full east end layout of the city, and a spectacular view of downtown. Due to its geographic location at the foot of Mount Royal, the upper floors of the building are at a higher elevation than the downtown core's tallest office buildings. The interior offers unique and non-traditional office spaces which reflect each enterprise's individual image.

Building amenities include two levels of reserved indoor parking and an on-duty security guard after business hours on weekdays and full time on weekends.

The building has recently undergone major renovations to its heating and air conditioning systems in order to respect growing environmental concerns. As a result of our initiatives, greenhouse gas emissions have been considerably reduced. The property was awarded the prestigious 2009 ASHRAE international award for Energy Management and Indoor Air Quality. Furthermore, in 2013 the 4200 St. Laurent obtained LEED certification that confirms its owners wish to remain at the forefront of energy and environmental technologies.

The building is owned by Time Equities, Inc., a full service real estate firm actively involved in the acquisition, development, conversion and management of commercial (office, retail, industrial) and residential properties throughout the US, Canada and Germany.
